Well, I was undoubtedly a Barbie girl. And after seeing Toy Story 3, I think Allie might be one as well. Barbie and Ken were her favorite. You have to admit, they were pretty stinkin' funny. I think they may have stole the show from Buzz and Woody.

A Toy Story
A week or two ago, we took the kiddos to see Toy Story 3. They loved it. I loved it. Dustin loved it. Score! On the way home it got us talking about our favorite toys we had growing up. Dustin said that his favorite toys were probably his micro-machines. Remember those little tiny cars?
Well, I was undoubtedly a Barbie girl. And after seeing Toy Story 3, I think Allie might be one as well. Barbie and Ken were her favorite. You have to admit, they were pretty stinkin' funny. I think they may have stole the show from Buzz and Woody.

So I went hunting through my mom and dad's storage room and found my Barbie cars!
Ken likes to kick it in the pool. Yup, this hot pink limo has a pool in the back. Sa-weet!
Barbie's at the wheel with Barbie riding shot gun!
I also had a red Corvette. I know, right.
I'm a Barbie girl, remember.
Buzz cruises this hot rod.
Woody has gone missing though... I think he may have run away, back to Andy's house, I guess.
What were your favorite toys growing up?
Have you seen Toy Story 3 yet??

The Next Generation
Melissa posted this picture of our dads on her blog and I had to do a post about it too!!
Aren't they studs??!
My dad is on the left and Melis' dad is on the right.
Uncle Jim (middle) is pretty cool too :)
In honor of our dads and their bell bottoms and 70's style mustaches, I thought I'd post some of me and Melis in our glory days.

Here's to the next generation!
I hope our kids are best buds too!!

Here we go again!
On Saturday, Dustin made the furrows in our garden! He also got some onions planted.

And Mark eating dirt clots. He and Allie were very good helpers.

In the afternoon we took a drive out to Meadow Valley Wash to get the kids to take a nap. Thank goodness for bumpy roads!

While we were out there a train came! It brought back fun memories of high school! I guess I've either wised up or become a weenie cuz I didn't have any desire to ride the bridge!
I really like this picture Dustin took of the bridge.
Overall we had a good weekend with hardly any puking. Hope your was good too!!

To my Reno Friends!
I finally found this picture! It was during the
Reno Balloon Race in 2006.
I looked out my kitchen window and saw Jesus ascending into the air!
I yelled to Dustin, "Jesus!"
He was totally confused, "What?!"
So I yelled again, "Jesus is outside our house!"
He looked outside and...
Well it was just a balloon shaped like Jesus. A church down the street was sponsoring it!
Love you guys and miss you all!
Lauren
