Boys Will Be Boys

Asleep

I didn't think it was possible but Allie and Mark are asleep at the same time! I guess miracles do happen. Dreams really do come true. Now that they are sleeping.. I'm going to catch up on some zzzzzz myself. I hope all your kids are napping too :)

"Little sheep, go to sleep little sheep" Estefan singing lulled Mark right to sleep! He said he learned the song from a cartoon. It was so cute. He's a great big brother.

I know I know I've posted three times today. I can't help it - I have the best kids and want to show them off!

The Marks

This is Uncle Mark. We named our Mark after him because he's such a great guy. He lives in Utah and we love to go visit him. Dustin says Mark is his hero. Mark was blessed with six beautiful daughters but no sons. So we hope he thinks of our little Mark as his own. Love you Uncle Mark!

Last night baby Mark only woke up once. I fed him at 11 he got up at 3 and we were done and back in bed by 4. Then at 7 when Allie woke up she ran straight to his bed and poked and loved on him. So I think he would've slept even longer. What a good boy. I feel pretty rested this morning. I'm gonna need it both kids have doctors apt at 10:30. Better get going if we're going to be there on time!

The Fair

For three years now we've missed the fair from being in Reno and then this year we missed it becasue we had baby Mark. Thanks to my wonderful family for taking the kids ang having fun! And for all the help you've been the past week!

Mark William Nelson

Mark was on Wednesday April 9th at 9:22am. He weighed 9lbs 10oz and is 21 3/4 inches long

Overall everything went really well. We checked in the hospital at 7pm and I started having contractions at 5am. So I got to sleep most the night. Then at 9:22 he was here! The doctor couldn't believe how big he was. We got home yesterday afternoon and Allie was so happy to see us. Estefan gets to come over today. So check back for more pictures!

Its only a day away!

Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I'm having my baby tomorrow! Its only a day away! So that was my song and dance for the day. I'm very excited to be done being pregnant. I know they say its easier to take care of a baby when its in you rather than out. But its harder to do everything else with a baby inside you! At least for me. I've been getting contractions the past couple days and it reminded me of when Catherine had her baby (little Lauren). She is so tough. We were hanging out at our house, Jami and her kids were there too and Catherine said I'm having contractions. I didn't think she was serious at first. And then they started coming every five minutes. Well she waits till Jason gets home and they go to Wal-Mart to go shopping. Then they never come back to the house. So Dus and I assume they went to the hospital. Anyway I couldn't imagine going to Wal-Mart right now.. and I'm not even in labor. So Catherine I hope I can be as tough as you. :) But as for right now I'm just living for tomorrow and sitting on my bum!

Friday is always library day for me and Allie. Today we found this super cute book. I love the illustrations and Allie loved to guess what animal came next. I highly recommend it to anyone with little kids!

5 Days!

No, no we don't have baby number 2 yet. This is Allie a few hours after she was born. I can't believe all the hair she had and still has. Anyway with only five days of pregnancy left to go - I've had a wave of memories pour back into my mind from her delivery. The pain, the epidural, everything. It's true what they say you really do forget the bad stuff, or nobody would have more than one kid. But what they don't tell you is when number two does come along, you remember again! I did it once. I hope I can do it again. I'm scheduled to be induced Tuesday April 8th at 7 pm. Wish me luck! :)
