Cannonville in the Fall

A few weeks ago Dustin, Mark and Papa Jack went to Cannonville to visit Grandma Bonnie,
get my horse and pick some apples.Photobucket The leaves were brilliant shades of yellow, orange and red on Cedar MountainPhotobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Mark stopped and picked me a flower :)

Our 4th of July Weekend

July 1st we headed to Panguitch for Grandma Bonnie's 80th birthday.
I failed to get a picture of her though (facepalm).

We had a good ol' time. Lots of games, cake, music, cake, BBQ, cake, visiting and oh cake!

We had planned to stay in Utah for the whole 4th of July weekend, but Allie and Luke had other plans.
They got super sick.
It was so sad. :(

So Sunday morning the 3rd {after cleaning up lots of yuck} we packed up and headed for home.

~~~
On the 4th, the kids managed to rally for some sparklers and to watch the town's firework display. My parents came over and we had ice cream and strawberries and enjoyed the nice night air.
Tuesday the 5th, Dustin stayed home from work, to help me with the sickies, make spaghetti sauce and sort through the mound of laundry.. oh and he mowed the lawns, helped his dad mend his porch and worked in the garden all while I took a nap.
Not exactly the fun filled weekend I had in mind..
but hey, you know what they say.
When life gives you lemons...
{you fill in the blank!}
