Kindergarten Kid

Today is the day Allie has been counting down to all Summer...

she wore sparkly shoes...

and walked to the bus stop...

Today Allie's excitement turned to into fear...


but Daddy and


old friends made it okay...


Today, I put my baby on a bus...


and experienced my first anxiety attack...


Today Allie held hands with her cousins...


and bless me a kiss and waved good bye...

Today my Allie girl started school!!

7 Months

Luke is seven months old!
That means we're more than half way to a birthday cake!!

At seven months Luke is

-- pulling himself up
-- eating more "real" food
-- big! I have no idea how much he weighs but he's a solid baby.
-- still toothless
-- sleeping through the night.. er at least I think he is.. the baby monitor broke
-- still army crawling. He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth but he seems to prefer getting around like a wounded soldier.

Allie's Letter

Dear Miss Nelson,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Dear Parents or Guardians:

Your child has been assigned to Mrs. Hammon's kindergarten class. We look forward to your child's return on Monday, August 29th at 8:50am.

Can you believe it?!

In less than 20 days my little girl, my amazing helper, my right hand man, my partner in crime, my lovely sunshine, Miss Allie will be starting kindergarten.

We are so excited for this new adventure in her life!

Splishin and a Splashin

The other day after a very mess lunch, Luke needed a bath and bad. But I didn't feel like filling the tub, so I put him in the sink.

He looooved it!

Since we were being wild, bathing in the sink, I thought I'd give a mohawk..
cuz we're rebels and all. ;)

Oh and occasionally we bathe the big kids too... and actually use the bath tub!

Luke's Baby Book

Hi all! Remember me? I'm the person who used to post here. July.. well the whole Summer really, has been busy busy busy! And I've been trying to enjoy every minute of Allie and Estefan before they start school. I have lots of pictures to post and some day I will post them. However, I've been busy putting together Luke's scrapbook before AdoramaPix's sale ends, so you get to see my pages before I do my other posts!!

Most Summer days around here are spent at my parents pool. I don't always take the camera in fear of it being dropped in the water or splashed to death.
But on this day, I was brave and took some pictures and the camera survived!!

Thanks to Grandpa Lana, Missy and Heather for always helping with the kids!
We sure love swimming with you guys.

Where did July go?

July was a big month of milestones for Luke and a big month of blog slacking for Mom.

Luke is now sitting up unsupported
