Some how every Christmas I always end up buying way too much wrapping paper. Then throughout the remainder of the year I don't want to buy more wrapping paper for birthday presents. So I use the Christmas paper for birthday presents!
But what? Can Christmas paper be used to wrap birthday presents??
YES!
How??
As my man Tim Gunn says,
But what? Can Christmas paper be used to wrap birthday presents??
YES!
How??
As my man Tim Gunn says,
You'd never guess.. right?!
1. Wrap the present with the paper facing wrong side out.
So you have a nice clean looking white surface to work with.
2. Then with a stencil (or free hand if you are awesome!) draw different size circles on a piece of fun colored paper.
3. Cut the circles out and glue them to the wrapping paper!
And voila!!
You get a cute birthday present with your old Christmas wrapping paper!!
Also with left over circles you can make a matching card to stick on the present!
***P.S. If you aren't feeling up to drawing and cutting out shapes, let your kids draw pictures or write messages on the paper before you wrap the present. Grandparents love the personalized grandkid touch!!***
